34. My relationship with my parents
Me and my mom get along really well. We are both Virgos so maybe that is why haha…no but she is the sweetest person. My mom is forever trying to get people to feel good about themselves, she has endless compassion and sympathy for anyone she meets. ANYONE. And I could go on all day about my mom but I’ll spare you. My dad hasn’t been a very good dad to be honest, I mean who can blame him his wife died. You know…I have learned this past week that I can’t keep ignoring my dad. One day he might not be there and God knows I will regret every second of being mean to him. So I’ve been getting along better with him because I want to make an effort. I forgive easy, it is how I’ve been my whole life. I realize that some people will never learn there lesson, but that’s just the way those people choose to live. My dad knows how much he has hurt his children emotionally, he carries it with him everyday deep down inside him. But I truly feel sorry for him because it must really suck to not really realize how precious and wonderful your kids are…or at least not act on it.
